Friends gathering

I always feel that one of the happiest moment in live is meeting friends, especially those who didnt meet up for long time, to have a cup of coffee and chatting non-stop about anything we like. Last sat, i managed to have such wonderful time with my friends in Gunung Jerai. It is not only a gathering with fren but also a gathering of our kids, hahaha, it was so fun indeed.

It was JJand my first time visitng to mt Jerai. Although there is not much thing we can do up there except taking scenic photos and of course chit chatting, i thought it was a nice place. At least it is well maintain then penang hill, which looks really old.

I tot there should have built some entertainment up there like karaoke room or nice pub or some sports court. If not, it is really boring to stay overnight there.

What is fren?

Recently I realise that i do not have much close friend. Sometime the longer i know a person, the further our relationship apart. Dunno why? I guess it is my problem, that i set expectation on friend, which i think i shouldnt. Once they did not meet my sort of ëxpectation, i tends to keep a distance from them. What is my expectation? Actually very simple, i expect them to be sincere and keep their promise, but dunno why i just found that some people like to tell "beautiful" lies... Well, i am not perfect either, maybe other dont like me also but they just pretending to be fren with me. BUt, i just cant pretend to like a person... :)

人生无常...

Life is an unknown, we will never know if tomorrow will come. Even though i seems to understand this but still when something happen, it will trigger me deeply to appreciate what I have in my life.
This morning i received a bad new about a fren. She just passed away yesterday half an hour after deliver to a baby boy. What a sad new...
While i was breasfeeding my gal this morning, i was so sad, that she will never had the chance to do so...
While i was trying to get my baby into sleep this morning, I dint compliant at all why she took so long still dont want to sleep because i knew that someone maynot even have the chance to do so....
While i am feeling so sad for my friend, i feel so blessed at the same time....for all the things that i have today...being healthy, having a good husband and a cute gal, both my parent and my families members are in good health and joyful always.
Thanks god for what i have today and i will always be grateful and never complaints again...

Poh Suan, I hope you will rest in peace.....

Great Dinner

Last sat we have gathering at one of my colleague's house. He and his gf cooked 4 Japanese dishes for us, so yummy. They are Tempura, Miso soup, Onkonomiyaki (japanese pancake) and Curry beef...I should have shown u the photo but I didnt brought my camera, though my colleague did took a few photoes of it.
After the dinner, we enjoyed the Wii Fit games, it was so fun unfortunately i cant play :(
Anyway, i still having a good time laughing at other playing, hehehe...JJ's estimated ages from the games was 49, OMG...hehehe...and he is so much overweight, need to work out hard d lar JJ...We really have fun playing or seeing other play the game whereby you need to move ur body weight in order to move ur direction from right to left to hit the ball while trying to avoid shoes or panda throwing to u....FUN! :)
Well, i guess this is the last gathering before I go on maternity leave, going to miss all other gathering in the next few months due to the baby :)

Is all about priority

Some people always claim that they have no time to do this or to do that.Well, i guess sometimes it is true but most of the time it is just about priority. I used to say i got no time to study this study that, but actually i prefer spending my time watching the Korea drama or chatting online.
Some other always said that they are busy at work and no time for family and friends, but i doubt that too. Again it is just priority. Whether you think this task is more important tor urgent than the other one, you will make the right decision. Some people i feel they always like to "fan fei ji" and give of sort of excused. Well sometimes it seems to be a valid excuses but again most of the time it is not. If you really think that the friend you are meeting is so important to you and you really wanted to meet with him/her, you will re-arrange all your other tasks, but if you think that meeting that friend can always be push out to a later date, then sure u dont mind to "fang fei ji". But, your fren how has always kena "fang fei ji" by you will slowly learn that he/she is not the priority in your mind.
So, my advise it that, dont simply make an empty promise to your families, friends, or colleagues and once promise has been made, try hard to hold on to it, dont give yourself all sorts of excuses to break it :)

Nice Farewell Gift

Today we went to Midzi Restaurant at New World Park to have farewell lunch with our colleague. I had the London fish and cheap, quite nice but then the portion is so big that i have to give away 2 pieces of my fish to my other colleagues :P but the free-flow aiscream is not good though.
Anyway, the key thing i wanna share here is that we get her a very nice and sweet cupcakes. It has a doll wearing Nike cap, shirt and shoes...haha cause she love Nike stuff...

Congratulation to my friend!

A good friend of mine was married yesterday and most of our schoolmate attended her wedding dinner. I still remeber about a year ago, she was talking to me through phone when i was in Hong Kong on a business trip, as she was still wondering if to accept this guy as her boy fren or not....but guess what, now they are married :) I am really happy for her.

I guess we would never know if the partner that we choose will be last forever but just be brave to step out the first step and continue the effort in developing a happy marriage.

Most of the single fren i notice, they are either not sure what they want when come to choosing a partners or they have set too high of the expectation. For those who set too high expecatation, i think they should lower down their expectation, as you yourself is not perfect, so why request your partner to be near perfect?
As for those who dont want how to choose a partner, my advise is - just follow your heart, if you like him/her and feel very comfortable being with him/her, then should get to know more each other, he/she could be your future partner :)

I wish all my fren will find their true love and live happily ever after.....:)

My best friend just married, but the bridegroom is not me..

Haha...dont feel shocked by the title, i was just trying to tease an old friend.

Yesterday me and JJ attended LP's wedding dinner. His good friend didnt show up as he has another wedding to attend...kononnya his sister's daughter is getting married. Anyway, since I know him when i just join agilent 8 years ago, he has been trying to find a girlfriend but seems like until now he is still a bachelor. So i guess he might have tought why "my best friend has married and the bridegroom is not me", hahaha...jsut joking... :)

Anyway, the wedding dinner was unique with the performance of ballet dancing and belly dancing who are the bride's frens and colleague.

Congratulation LP, finally you had gotten married after so many years pat tor with Kah Yee :)

Gathering..

Next time maybe we can do some outdoor activities....hiking, picnic or ????

House warming

I just came back from attending a friend's house warming party. Her house is at Bandar Laguna Merbok, SP. Huge double storey semi-d with quite long front parking space and contemporary design. I like the renovation, simple and nice. The kitchen is very big too even though she said she seldom cook :)

Something worth to mention is that this township is the ONLY Award Wining Township in Kedah..hehe..notice a big signboard beside the road saying so :)

Just love chatting with firends..

Yesterday i have a long chat with my old schoolmates. We chat from about 7pm till close to 2am...haha just dont know why we got so much to talk about :)
We update each other's latest news, you talk about recently economy situations, we talk about family and children, we talk about interest and travel.
I always cherish those moment chatting with friends and i think i should do it more often before i have kids :)
However, sometimes we may found that many of our friends are busy with works or family that makes them no time to come out and join us. But i do hope more and more can make it to such a gathering session...too me, it is very meaningful...

Special Fullmoon cakes

A son of a collegaue of mind has reached his one month birthday and thus we received the cupcakes from him. It was the most unique full moon cakes i ever receive before. It was so customized for individual's need. I think the boss must be a very creative businessman. It has 4 cakes in the box that has different design. One of them has his son's name on it.
It's just so lovely and it taste good too. :)

A nice gift from HSBC

I got a HSBC credit card and due to my birthday, they sent me a voucher whereby i can claim free cup of coffee and a piece of cake from starbucks. I guees so far this is the best "free" gift i get for my birthday. Other "free" gift was either not really free or I dont like it that much. I ate the blueberry cheese cake and it was good.

Me and my friend also "ta pao" the big apple donut to have it together with the starbuck coffee. Guest what, it was my first time eating it and i love it so much. The donut testure is so soft but yet the outer layer is so crispy. Their have many flavour and we tried the peanut, cocklat, mango, green tea,

white cocklat with nut and even the durian flavour. All taste good but my favorite is cocklat, peanut and durian...
(Haha...forgot to take photo before we ate the donut, about finishing only suddenly recall :))

It was a nice outing with my girlfriends and really enjoyed the time chatting with them.

Edwin has finally become a father, congrats to you!
Jayden was born yesterday at Island hospital around 1pm with the weight of 3.23Kg. Both the cute little boy and his mother was doing well.
Jayden open up his eyes when we visited him, and he also yawn in front of us, hehe...he is so cute :)

Farewell to my dear fren...

This friday is PT's last day in Agilent. He decided to move on to his new career. So we had a farewell lunch with him this afternoon.

BTW, the seafood fried rice in Yataimura, QB is quite nice :)

Last Pot Luck dinner at Carol's house..

We had a gathering at Carol's house, it should be the last one before she move to her new house.
I'm impressed by the cooking skill of my guys' colleague...they cooked japanese curry chicken, pineapple fried rice and 3 layers pork meat and all taste good...wah lau eh, better then most of the ladies ler :) (Me also not bad lar, cooked the dessert "Long Gan Tau Fu"...)
Overall, it was a nice gathering except the weather is bad. We were chatting about how to rare dogs, and some of them are really professional, giving a lots of tips to Carol who has just given a new born puppy...Haha..she said that taking care of a child is much more easier then taking care of a dog :P....

Cancer-the most terrifying disease

I just get to know that a fren of mine, her mother was on radiotheraphy due to breast cancer. Due to this, she has to always take leave and bring her mother for theraphy. I guess she must be very sad and tired but luckily she seems to be strong.
This make me recall that one of my auntie also died of breast cancer. She was consider lucky as after she gone through the theraphy she become well and live for another 7/8 years. However the cancer cell strike once again and this time she lost to the death evil.

Our own health have to be taken care by our own and dont wait until it is too late then only regret...saying that, I am starting to control my diet, as i have gastric problem. I loves to eat spicy, sour and fried food, but now i really need to reduce eating those foods because i want to prevent my gastric problem from getting worst.

Gathering At My House...

This afternoon, my friends came to my hosue to have a small gathering...We chat while eating and jokes around. Really fun to gather once a while. The most interesting about old friends are - even though we seldom meet each other, but when we gather, we still got some many topics to talk about :)
And the topics may change from times to times, last time we talk more about work, then about who's boy friends...now talking about children and family...

To me, although family is the most important part of our life but without friends, life won't be perfect and complete...
