Great Dinner

Last sat we have gathering at one of my colleague's house. He and his gf cooked 4 Japanese dishes for us, so yummy. They are Tempura, Miso soup, Onkonomiyaki (japanese pancake) and Curry beef...I should have shown u the photo but I didnt brought my camera, though my colleague did took a few photoes of it.
After the dinner, we enjoyed the Wii Fit games, it was so fun unfortunately i cant play :(
Anyway, i still having a good time laughing at other playing, hehehe...JJ's estimated ages from the games was 49, OMG...hehehe...and he is so much overweight, need to work out hard d lar JJ...We really have fun playing or seeing other play the game whereby you need to move ur body weight in order to move ur direction from right to left to hit the ball while trying to avoid shoes or panda throwing to u....FUN! :)
Well, i guess this is the last gathering before I go on maternity leave, going to miss all other gathering in the next few months due to the baby :)

Is all about priority

Some people always claim that they have no time to do this or to do that.Well, i guess sometimes it is true but most of the time it is just about priority. I used to say i got no time to study this study that, but actually i prefer spending my time watching the Korea drama or chatting online.
Some other always said that they are busy at work and no time for family and friends, but i doubt that too. Again it is just priority. Whether you think this task is more important tor urgent than the other one, you will make the right decision. Some people i feel they always like to "fan fei ji" and give of sort of excused. Well sometimes it seems to be a valid excuses but again most of the time it is not. If you really think that the friend you are meeting is so important to you and you really wanted to meet with him/her, you will re-arrange all your other tasks, but if you think that meeting that friend can always be push out to a later date, then sure u dont mind to "fang fei ji". But, your fren how has always kena "fang fei ji" by you will slowly learn that he/she is not the priority in your mind.
So, my advise it that, dont simply make an empty promise to your families, friends, or colleagues and once promise has been made, try hard to hold on to it, dont give yourself all sorts of excuses to break it :)

Why there is people who like to make other's life difficult??

There is so many different type of peoples in this world, and one of the kind that i hate most are those who like to make other people's life difficult.
Especially those who have authority, they can simply request to cancel your meeting at last minute, or asking you to change the meeting time few minutes prior to your meeting, or simply change the approval decision-----all this make the life of the execution people miserable.
I hope one day those people will kena and learnt their lesson, then improve themselves :)

One Step Closer

Yesterday me and JJ was so exited setting up our baby's playpen.....that finally my mom agree to pass it to me. Haha...she initially reluctance to pass me the playpen so early because she "pantang", but since now i am just 5 weeks away from my due date, i think she is more comfortable :)
The mattress just fit in nicely and we also try to hook up the musical mobile and it works well :)
See the photo below...After finished setting it up, me and JJ feel so happy, and we are one more step closer to welcoming our new family member...yeah! :)

Work culture

I read on an article and find this interesting. Thought to share in my blog...

§ In low performing cultures, people don't hold others accountable.
§ In good performing cultures, supervisors (or people with power) hold others accountable.
§ In the best performing cultures, everyone can and does hold everyone else accountable.

So which one represent your work environment culture?
The best of course is to stike toward the last one.

NO more visit to "Tar Chang Jing"

Yesterday me and JJ went to our favorite "Tar Chang Jing" Korean restaurant at Autocity for dinner after our movie - The Proposal.
When we first walk in, there is no customers inside at all. We sit down at our usual seat and here come the fat, ugly lady to serve us. Not friendly at all and ask us to speak Malay to her only waitress in the restaurant, weird isn't it?

Anyway, we wait for a few minutes and the food come. Oh my goodnes, why the dishes shrink to half the size of what we usually have? and once again the ugly lady took the wrong order, we want tuna kimchi chigae but she gave us pork...the last time we came, she also made the same stupid mistake..damn it! We ask her for the change and she feel a bit reluctant to but we insist. I asked why the dish become so small size and u know what she told us? SHe say oh..this is the right size, last time is wrong....oh...come on! I had been to that restaurant for more than 1 years ago and i always order the same thing and the dish is used to be not this size....how can she think that she can just convince customer like that? Somemore she just leaving us after throwing out that stupid explaination...ha...

What's more, i think the food taste sucks, totally different from what we use to taste, so we guess the chef must have been changed. We quickly finished the dinner as it is quite warm there, i guess they dont turn on most of the air cond as there is only us and the other customer in such a big restaurant..We asked for the bill and notice another thing, now they charge RM3.9 for the green tea, last time they use to give is free and free flow too..really not worth it...

Well, the conclusion it, no more visit to "Tar Chang Jing" anymore for us :)

Thanks god my BSP result is good

WHat is BSP test? - Blood sugar profile test.
Why is it needed? - When doctor suspect that you have high risk of getting diabetes during pregnancy.
How it was done? - Lab assistant will take a sample of your blood (by poking to ur finger tips) to test it using the glukose tester 4 times in a days. Prior to your breakfast, 8am; before your lunch around 11.30am; before your dinner around 4.30pm and before your bedtime around 9.30pm.

I went for the BSP test after my MTT test (also a type of testing to see your body reaction toward the sugar level) show very high result, 8.6mmol/l. Thanks god the result is good. my average reading was 5.3mmol/l, meaning i dont have any diabetes yet :)
However, i will need to repeat the BSP test in the next 2 weeks time...i have been put under close monitoring...good and bad. Good of course it is safer to monitor closely, bad, of course i got to take many days leave...wanna save my leave for my maternity ler :)

One thing i wanted to mention here is really the good service provided by government clinic. THe nurse purposely come at night, open the door at 9.30pm for me and the other person to do the blood test and yet she still looks very friendly even though i can see red eye in her :)

Kudos to the govern clinic, good job and keep it up!
