Fever after injection

My daughter always have mild fever after the injection. Yesterday she went for her 1.5 years old injection and now she is having fever again. Yesterday was worst, 38.5degree Celsius, but now she is getting better, at around 37. Doctors always asked us to give the fever medicine right after her injection. But i am a bit skeptical on it. Fever medicine cant prevent fever, so why should we eat it first? Also, i think that it is normal for the cell in her body to get a little bit active as it is fighting against the weak viruses. The activities cell cause the mild fever and it should be alright as long as we monitoring it. I am glad that this is her last jab and the rest is optional.
