Phuket Family Vacation

Just back from 3days 2 night vacation at phuket. We initially thought to have a relaxed holiday but with our 3 years old daughter around, it will never be "relax" :) She was so energetic, playful and keep running around, which made me and my husband tired...
Anyway, I like the resort we stayed very much. The Cape Panwa Hotel has a over-sized bed, big balcony with sea-view and very spacious room and not forget to mention the awesome buffet breakfast.
We spent most of the time in the pool and by the beach. It has a private beach with white sands and nice view. It was in the south-east side of phuket, whereas the famous Patong beach is on the west coast.
We took half a day tour to visit the famous Wat Chalong and Big Buddha. The Wat Chalong is nice but the Big Buddha is still under construction and not much thing to see, but because it situated up the hills, it has got a spectacular view of the villages. We also visited the phuket zoo at Chalong, entrance fees is 500 baht for adult. It's kind of expensive because the Zoo is small and not very nice. The only attraction are the shows, the elephant show, Monkey and crocodile show. We managed to watched the elephant and Monkey show. We were entertained by the elephant show especially my daughter but the monkey show was kind of boring. My daughter have the chance to feed the elephant with bananas and she was very excited..so i thought the money is paid off :)
Wat Chalong - The biggest temple in Phuket
Overall, we were happy about the trip and plan to go for Koh Samui next year. Oh and if you interested to know, it cost us RM2500 for the flight and the hotel for 3 days 2 nights. We managed to find a local people to bring us around for 6 hours to Phuket Zoo, Wat Chalong and Big Buddha for 1000 baht which i think very worth it.
