The most glittering street this coming Chinese New Year

This year's Chinese New Year will be excited and unforgettable for the people of Raja Uda (a busy township in penang, Malaysia). There will be approximately 10 thousand of Tanglung (Chinese traditional lamp)light up the whole street of 3.5km. This meaninful charitable event is co-organizing by the local govenrment and one of the temples association in Raja Uda. Each of the Tanglung cost RM99 and whoever also can be the sponsors. All the money collected from this event will be donated to the temple. The formal lit up ceremony will be held in 10th Jan by the Penang Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng. The news said that this event is going to be recorded in the "Malaysia Book of Records". I can't wait till monday to snap some nice photo on the spectacular view of the street when all the lights are lit up! I will post it up to my blog next monday, stay tune!
